Welcome to La Petite Longère, where we invite you to come and enjoy our family friendly gite located in the heart of the Charente Maritime. Nestling amongst vineyards close to the old medieval town of Pons with its famous 200 year old donjon (chateau).
Our beautiful gite has a private heated pool, 2 comfortable bedrooms, comprising of a double and a twin, a bathroom and large open plan kitchen, dining and living room opening out onto your own private deck and garden. The gite is set within a 200 year old farm house recently renovated blending the old with the new
The Charente Maritime, famed for its sunny climate, second only to the south of France, has everything you could wish for to make the perfect holiday. Whether you want to spend the day on one of the lovely sandy beaches, just 25 mins away or explore the many old French towns, Cognac 20 mins away or the larger city of Bordeaux known for its world famous wine only an hour away. The beautiful town of La Rochelle also within an hour has many attractions including it's stunning aquarium. Or just relax around the gite enjoying the views of vineyards and the countryside. This beautiful region of France is famous for its cognac, pineau and wine as well as its fantastic seafood which you can enjoy in the many restaurants in the area.
